Smoking ban in restaurants
From January 2012 smoking will be prohibited in all indoor public places: in offices, restaurants and pubs cigarettes will only be allowed outside, in front of the entrance.
Penalties will only be imposed following a 3-month grace period. Smokers will still be able to smoke in outdoor bars and gardens, while in hotels cigarettes will only be tolerated at tobacco presentations and in cigar-rooms, where no food and beverage can be served.
