The Chamber of Commerce for the Northern Netherlands in cooperation with the Office of Economic Affairs of the Embassy of Hungary are organizing an investment seminar and B2B matchmaking event: Co-operating in innovation and business development - Region meets Region seminar in Groningen on 26th May 2011 (10:00 - 17:30 h, Remonstrantse kerk, Groningen)

 

Industries in focus: life science, agri/food, chemical, logistics

Regions in focus: Southern Great Plain Region of HungaryNorthern Netherlands Region Groningen – Friesland –Drenthe. The event is bringing into focus business opportunities for potential Dutch investors in the Southern Great Plain Region of Hungary, promoting industrial sectors, such as life science (pharma, biotechnology, medical devices), agriculture and food, chemical and logistics. The event should promote cooperation between Dutch and Hungarian companies in the field of R&D and innovation as well as in supply chain partnering, while the business matchmaking program is to help Dutch and Hungarian companies finding potential partners in the form of one-to-one meetings.

 

Dutch speakers of the seminar will present the current trends of economy and speak of the cooperation opportunities in Central-Eastern Europe as they see them and also of the innovation programmes in the North Brabant Region. Keynote speakers from Hungary will introduce business and investment opportunities in Hungary and particularly in the South-Eastern counties. Other lecturers will give introduction into the knowledge-centres of Southern Great Plain of Hungary. Company testimonials of Dutch investors will give practical insights and information to potential newcomers.Further programme details are to follow by the end of April 2011.
