Introducing economic features of North Hungary and the Northern Great Plain Region to potential Dutch investors of the Brabant region, ITD Hungary and the Office of Economic Affairs of the Hungarian Embassy in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce Brabant, organised an investment promotion seminar on 15th of April 2010.

The “Co-operating in technology and innovation” seminar held in Eindhoven, in one of the most important commercial centres of the Netherlands, was attended by appr. 90 Dutch entrepreneurs and business men.

The two Hungarian regions were presented in order to raise awareness and give further impulse to Dutch small- and medium sized companies to start businesses in Hungary. The number of participants, their position, and most importantly general opinion of many participants were beyond our expectations. This event would not have been the same without the dedicated support of the Chamber’s highly enthusiastic team.

Our aim – as the Office of Economic Affairs of the Embassy of Hungary – is to encourage Dutch companies in investing into Hungary and/or in creating partnerships with Hungarian manufacturers or service providers. I am pleased to advise you that either the Embassy of Hungary or the ITD Hungary, the investment and trade promotion agency of the government are at your kind disposal for any investment projects to be implemented in Hungary or for searching Hungarian partners.

The event brought into focus business opportunities of selected industrial sectors, such as machinery, electronics, logistics, ITC, material sciences and life sciences – industries that can build a bridge between Brabant and North-Eastern Hungary.
