EU Development Fund Supports Western Hungarian Industrial Plant

The European Union has supported the expansion of the industrial park in the vicinity of the Western Hungarian town Győr. The EU has contributed by HUF 138 million to the HUF 650 million project, which added 17.5 hectares to the area. The expansion is expected to draw up to 20 new companies.

 

Hungary is a central location for logistics and industrial park services attracting many of the global companies to the country, which intends to coordinate its Central and East European operations from within the region. Altogether 4,000 companies employ around 200,000 people in 200 industrial parks.
