€49 rescue ticket from Malév for Sky Europe passengers
Malév is making a further special offer available to passengers left stranded and holding valid Sky Europe tickets, who can pick up one-way air tickets for just €49 – a fare that compares favourable with low-cost airlines’ prices – between 3-15 September. Travellers caught out by Sky Europe can travel to 12 selected cities in Europe through the Malév network.
The Hungarian airline is offering one-way tickets to and from 11 European metropolises and Budapest for €49 (including taxes and duties), and flights between 7 cities in Europe and Prague with a transfer in Budapest. Unlucky Sky Europe passengers are able to fly direct scheduled services from Amsterdam, Athens, Brussels, Bucharest, Copenhagen, Istanbul, Larnaca, Paris, Rome, Sofia and Thessaloniki to Budapest, and Amsterdam, Athens, Brussels, Bucharest, Copenhagen, Paris and Rome passengers can travel to Prague via the Hungarian capital. Of course, passengers can fly to or from all the listed destinations.
In addition to the above destinations, passengers arriving in Budapest will find that Malév also operates direct scheduled express coach services from Ferihegy International Airport to Bratislava and Košice. Tickets can be booked at travel agencies.
The special “rescue campaign” available exclusively for those travellers holding a valid Sky Europe air ticket runs between 3-15 September. These Malév tickets can be booked in any travel agency in the period shown above. Purchased tickets are valid for travel to listed Malév destinations between 26 October 2009 and 26 March 2010. Special offer tickets are not available for booking during the Christmas period, between 21 December 2009 – 6 January 2010.
